Word and sound play activities are the most important set of skills that your child needs in order to become a successful reader and writer. We refer to them as Phonological Awareness skills. These important foundational skills do not involve letters, only words and sounds through play. AND, they must be explicitly taught, as they are not learned naturally the way language and vocabulary develops.  Many of the activities on the internet claim to teach phonological awareness, but they do so using letters, and this is not correct.  In our Jangles, Jingles, and Jiggles book, we’ll show you how to teach Phonological skills correctly using only words and sounds.

Here's what you get in this book:

  • 45 lessons for activities to play and teach at the same time all of the phonological awareness skills. You’ll get enough material to do each activity several different times so that you can continue with the activities for about three years - even after your child is beginning to read.

  • Each lesson plan tells how to do the activity, what materials or sources you’ll need from around the house.

  • Examples of how to do the activities

  • An assessment and a tracking log to track progress

  • Parent resources for additional helps for teaching these skills

  • SIX training videos for parents.

What Our Parents Are Saying About Us

My daughter is learning skills she will use when she

starts learning to read all while we are having fun together.

My son loves the activities and stories. He is engaged and excited to learn

and the feeling of success that he gets motivates him to keep going!

We now have an awareness of what to do, so we make

every activity a learning opportunity.
